@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social I’m reading Anthropocene Review and I don’t know that you cal it a memoir but it fits a loose definition and as such I have to say it is the 2nd most interesting memoir behind Ben Franklin.

Human history is a lot like the stock market. In the short terms there’s lots of ups and downs. Some eras are negative. Think the bubonic, Hitler, Henry VIII, the crusades, and that’s just western history.
Trump would promote Medicare for All if they just write the Bill and call it “TrumpHealth” when they put it in front of him. And honestly I think they should try that.

Can’t wait for California to need Canadian lumber and steel to rebuild at 25% tariff prices. Oh and without immigrant workers to do the building. California only represents like 25% of the national GDP. Inicidental damage no big deal.
