/3 obviously, I’m referring to children designated SEN at Code K here - not EHCPs. I think a study is required around rigour and consistency in SEND designation across a wide range of settings.

I look forward to reading the report. I’ve always had concerns that the no of children with SEN on roll is a poor proxy for measuring how inclusive a school is. For example, some schools may be so inclusive that they have fewer children needing provision that is additional to/different from. /….
