Saddened to hear of the recent passing of Manitoba Curling Legend Orest Meleschuk. The Big ‘O’, 2 time Mb champ, skipped his Fort Rouge team to the Silver Broom in 1972. But the world championship was not Meleschuk’s most memorable victory. It was winning the Purple Heart.

Congratulations to former Jet Keith Tkachuk selected to be inducted to @HockeyHallFame He scored the first 144 of his 538 NHL goals as a Jet including the last 50 goal season for a Jets player. He was selected in the 1st Rd of 1990 Draft with pick obtained in the Hawerchuk trade
