Julian 'Pastrytime' Carr I run two YouTube channels - Hungry on Plane and The Esports Garage. I like Magic: The Gathering, coffee and esports. Yes I also used to cast League of Legends. Here for the memes. Biz: pastrycorp@gmail.com

For the full-time content creators that see this, especially in the Magic space: How did you decide that you were full-time? What prompted the shift? What metrics (or maybe just vibes) did you use to make that decision?

I feel like if WOTC ever re-released Ice Age with the same art and borders, updated the expansion symbol to show colour rarity, added collector numbers and just called it 'MTG Classic: Ice Age' it would go crazy style. At least for me specifically. They could even have Collector Alt Arts!

Absolutely NOT an ad at all but if you're a fan of my MTG videos at all you should check out the game where the music is from! It finally released into 1.0 very recently and I'm excited to dive back in. Ponder thy Orb store.steampowered.com/app/1910680/...

Orb of Creation on Steam

Orb of Creation is a non-idle incremental-puzzle game in which you recreate the world with nothing but magic and ingenuity. Conjure resources, buy upgrades, and become an all-powerful wizard!

Collecting cards in your card game is really fun! Started on a foil set of Masques (always hunting) and now decided that I want to collect all of Ice Age lol Maybe I just like bad and old Magic sets?

New Phoebe Bridgers song and video dropped today and it feels fucking good to see such a BANGING looking practical effect on camera in the slop laden world we've been pushed into lately.

There is nothing more frustrating than having a progressive music track stuck in your head. How TF am I supposed to remember what song it is I can barely keep the polyrhythm LOL

Wait this is such sweet design! You get a reward for pulling the lever but the lever gets harder to pull each time. Obviously you can just break this rate with many things but I do like that the core design of increment feels like good pacing for a powerful effect.

Wild to think that it's been so long that internet archives for things went dead and I'm one of the X people with the random mp3 files from an EP of a band from San Diego a handful of people might've heard of from the early 2000s? Like, what LOL Turns out forever and a long time are not the same?
