Jamie • 34 • she/her inattentive-type AuDHD I'm not a particularly vocal person, & my activity's a bit sporadic. I like to draw and play video games.

Ever since he found the dog bed in that corner one time, Milo's loved sleeping in this back corner, even while it was gone and after it had been replaced with a smaller cat bed. (In winter, the vent right there is just a bonus for him!)

Photograph. A white and orange-tabby cat sleeping completely on his side in an angled cat bed, with his chest and higher on the floor while the rest of him is in the bed. His eyes are closed, and his front legs are stretched forward to rest his paws on the edge of a heater vent, which he had done in greeting when he'd first seen someone who had been asleep beforehand looking at him.

It still bothers me that so many people just uncritically accepted that a word with "slop" in it is an actual, usable, unbiased term for something they supposedly like. I wish people would pay more attention to the words they repeat and give them some thought before even considering using them.

You won't catch me referring to a game as "friendslop". I don't think it's a good thing to adopt a term that was made as an on-the-spot insult as an official name for anything; we don't have to use the first word we hear! But, really, did people forget what "slop" implies about something? 😒 🧵[1/4]

Ice Mermaid Top V1 ❄️ This top reminds me of an Olympic figure skater's costume mixed with mermaid vibes. I love the sheer puff sleeves, delicate high neckline, and corset-inspired bodice. Would you wear this as a statement top or as part of the full set?
