I feel bad for Mahershala Ali never getting to be Blade. I hope he at least got paid to be on contract and still not play Blade for 6 years. At this point, I just expect the Wesley Snipes movies to become loose canon and Wesley Snipes will just cameo whenever he needs a mortgage payment.

Today's Wordle actually legitimately made me mad when I got it. Apparently, I should have known that "WASPS" couldn't POSSIBLY have been the correct answer, but that "PSHAW" was a totally reasonable and commonly used five letter word. Wordle 1,852 4/6* 🟨⬛⬛⬛⬛ 🟨⬛🟨⬛⬛ 🟨🟨🟨🟨⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

When the United States is objectively better off with the departure of a Senator from service in the Senate, it is destructive to a politician's integrity to “find something nice to say” about that Senator. Decorum normalizes hateful people who destroy American institutions and betray their oaths.

This was probably the most unhinged finale D20 has ever had. I can't wait for the Adventuring Party tomorrow where they all try and figure out where it all went right.

Hot Take: It's not unreasonable to expect billionaires to pay for the damages they routinely cause, not just because they should, but because they've literally restructured the entire world in such a way where literally no one else but them is able to. Don't like it? Don't be a billionaire.

I respect @shaunvids.bsky.social a great deal, but this is an argument I wish I saw less. The sales model of "AI is your new friend" basically died last year with the release of GPT-5. They have since pivoted to developing super-coders, and they've gotten really good this year in particular.

'ooOOooh our AI systems are so good they're scary' is an advertisement designed to keep the hype up. it is entirely untrue. no large language model is any more conscious than a calculator, and they will never get any closer

Multi-millionaires and billionaires keep getting richer and richer while working families get squeezed by a rigged economy. No more. It’s time for a wealth tax — and for our government to start working for working people.
