Was perusing CDM and saw this post. cdm.link/monome-at-20... Elise and I went to this 2007 event in Brooklyn where Brian and Kelli showed the monome. I also remember seeing Daedalus perform with a prototype in Wash Sq Park (with Paul Lanksy!) sometime in late 2006 I think.

Unfortunate to lose a platform like Nina but I can't say I'm surprised. Nina never seemed to focus on creating a useful platform for listeners/buyers, just for musicians to add their work. If you want to support musicians you have to create something listeners want to use. NFTs were not it.

Marc is one of the best writers and critics of experimental music. Deep knowledge and a real listener. A no brainer to support this. Looking forward to all the new sounds he’s going to share.

Regardless of everything else surrounding this campaign...Graham Platner is one of the most "Identity Politics" candidates in recent memory and it's only clear if you live in Maine. This guy is presented as an almost caricature of a "real mainer". Props to his PR people because it's working.
