Dealing with a campaign issue that is ultimately a good problem to have: we are out of stuff! Literally have given out every single yard sign and used every single piece of campaign lit. We just placed an emergency order with the printer to keep up with demand!
Patrick Roath

Democrat for Congress in MA-08. Equal parts voting rights activist and gardener. Formerly: Common Cause MA, Deval Patrick. Running to take on the status quo.
Such an incredible session at Linden Ponds today! Thank you to the energized, joyful, and impressive crew who came to hear from me!
"Roath gets our nod as the most viable challenger largely because of his fundraising prowess: he’s raised more than $1.1 million with, he said, a median donation of $25, suggesting a broad base of voter support." www.wgbh.org/news/politic...
Why more than half of Massachusetts’ House reps are facing primary challengers this year
There’s more to this Democratic primary cycle than just Moulton vs. Markey.

Big news in our race -- we finally have a candidate forum that Rep. Lynch has agreed to come to! Come join us on August 13 in Weymouth. We still need a debate in this race. This forum will be great, but there's no candidate interaction permitted.
💸Corporate PAC Funding💸 Rep. Stephen Lynch: Over $2,000,000 Patrick Roath: $0 Join us: patrickroath.com
Congressman Lynch says his campaign “has never been powered by big money.” Nothing could be further from the truth.
This moment requires urgency and a conviction that we can actually change things - housing we can afford, childcare for everyone, and putting our healthcare over profits. I’m Patrick Roath, and I’m challenging 25-year incumbent Rep. Stephen Lynch in the democratic primary on September 1st.
Really enjoyed chatting with @NBC10Boston — our conversation aired this morning, check out this preview online! www.nbcboston.com/video/on-air...

I am so proud to roll out our next slate of endorsers from across the district! We are growing our grassroots coalition and adding to the incredible team powering us to victory on September 1. Come join us!
This is such a profound tragedy and a loss for all of us, especially for Roslindale and the cycling safety community. I know Louisa's family, and am gutted by the loss. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/07/09/m...

In 2013, when Congressman Lynch ran for the U.S. Senate, he argued that primary debates were essential because "debates are good for democracy." I agree. That's why I'm inviting Congressman Lynch to join me on the debate stage so 8th district voters can hear from both candidates.
You can't claim to be fighting MAGA Republicans while repeatedly voting with them. Rep. Lynch has shown he can't be trusted to do even the bare minimum.
So proud to be supporting @patrickroath.bsky.social MA-08!! Amazing job today on Boston Public Radio - vote Patrick Roath MA-08!! 💙💙💙💙
Appreciate the @bostonglobe.com editorial today: "If nothing else, participating in debates is a sign of respect for the electorate — and voters can draw their own conclusions about candidates who refuse." www.bostonglobe.com/2026/07/08/o...
If candidates won’t debate, voters should wonder why not - The Boston Globe

I want Democrats to win the Senate. But not with this nominee in Maine. In light of today's allegations, it is obvious he is unfit for office. I hope Platner drops out and Maine Democrats replace him with a suitable candidate.
Wishing everybody a happy, fun, and safe holiday weekend! Let’s celebrate America’s 250th birthday while remembering that the promise of our country is far from fulfilled. Happy 4th! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
