In addition to the Chicago Cubs having 4 win streaks of 10+ games in a season, the 1954 Milwaukee Braves and 1916 New York Giants each had 3 double-digit win streaks. 29 other teens did in twice.
Got a text last night asking if the Red Sox have ever had multiple 10-game win streaks in the same season. Blame that person for being a jinx. For the record, the answer is no, but it has been done 32 times in MLB history, including the 1906 Chicago Cubs who had 4 such streaks.
David Blay not being claimed on waivers lowers my Patriots salary cap number by $50,000 to $33,643,299. The Patriots have a total of 94 players on their roster. Three are on Injured Reserve while Lorenz Metz is part of the International Pathway Program.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony is this weekend for the Class of 2026. Friendly reminder: Voters decided #Patriots owner Robert Kraft & Bill Belichick were unworthy of induction. 15 owners & 29 coaches enshrined, but no room for the most successful among them.
