Here to post about my opinions on Football (mainly Spurs). Will also frequently post about my unfounded opinions on film, tv and technology. 🐓#COYS 🩵#SydneyFC 🦅#AtlantaHawks 🎞️#FilmSky 📺#TVSky📱#TECH

Now that Spurs' pre-season tour of NZ & Australia is done and I've had a proper look at the academy lads stepping up, I have to say Malachi Hardy has impressed me most. At just 18, he's shown real composure in possession, a natural feel for a possession-based game, and excellent defensive instincts.

The Spurs win over Chelsea with a man down no less, was a nice birthday present from the football gods (friendly or not) 🙏…

Tbh, the pitch was in shocking condition and looked completely unfit for a match of this scale. I was genuinely concerned about injuries. It's disappointing to host a game with 80,000 in attendance and have the playing surface looking like that.

Very unlikely Fernandes plays tomorrow against Chelsea. I'm at the opening training session right now and he's not training with the rest of the squad. He did a light warm up around the pitch and then disappeared. My guess is he has a knock and De Zerbi doesn't want to risk him.

Uefa meeting is 2pm UK time tomorrow - boycotts will be discussed It’s already been raised how the same threat was used to kill Fifa’s plan to have a Russian team in the World Cup after Ukraine Also idea of EU/EC removing Fifa’s antitrust law exemptions www.independent.co.uk/sport/footba...

Oh, and Williams-Barnett scored his penalty with a Panenka, btw. Not lacking confidence at all from the impressive 17-year-old.

Another very good game from Tel tonight against Sydney FC. Some of the things he did on the ball were unlike anything I've seen from him before. Those no-look reverse passes around the box were outrageous. Gray is settling into the DM role nicely too.

Looking forward to making it out to the Allianz stadium tomorrow for the Spurs vs Sydney FC preseason game. Managed to secure some decent seats but tbh the design of that stadium is so good that you'll get a good view from anywhere in the stadium.

*A Supreme Blue* by Nicholas Payton & Butcher Brown is an interesting listen. An ode to two jazz masterpieces; Miles Davis' *Kind of Blue* and John Coltrane's seminal album *A Love Supreme*

Tel did 90% of the work there, running up that left channel and beating two defenders in the box to lay it for a Richie tap in.
