Thank you to Cathcart, Merrylee and Muirend Community Council for arranging another successful and well-attended event. It was great to catch up after the recess. A fitting end to wonderful summer with Bailie Margaret Morgan & Cllr Sean Ferguson

Today’s pay & grading decision called for conviction from my @snp.org colleagues, stepping up when it mattered whilst the architects of the issue that brought us here @labouruk.bsky.social tried to stall progress and create uncertainty for the workforce. #WorkforceJustice
Delighted to see that the motion I tabled before the summer has kick-started a comprehensive review of the city's lanes network. Improving Glasgow’s lanes is central to delivering a safe, inclusive, city where all citizens, particularly women, can always move freely & confidently
Such a warm, happy lunch with my old team mates yesterday. A great addition to my big birthday celebration 🥳

Thanks to community volunteers from Croftfoot & Castlemilk for joining me on Saturday for the community litter picks - amazing turn-out and great effort by all 👌
Delighted to join the Pride in Place Board. Together, we can improve Castlemilk for all with some great investment over the next 10 years. Any residents are welcome to get in touch with their ideas on how to spend the money. paul.mccabe@glasgow.gov.uk
Congrats to Castlemilk Football Trust for hosting a great event today at Barlia Football Centre, celebrating football legends from Castlemilk.
I can't imagine Anas Sarwar anticipated this kind manifesto 'trumpeting' at it's Scottish Labour #GE2026 launch. #CarCrash x.com/i/status/204...

This must be very upsetting for the loved ones of those buried in the graves affected. I'm pleased GCC already have a plan to resolve the issue and I will ensure sure that this is completed in a dignified and timely manner. www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/scottis...

The one sure-fire way to kill the night-time economy, and here's me thinking he supported small businesses 👀
2. The use of toxic misinformation for political purposes is incompatible with the standards expected of public office. Glasgow deserves conduct rooted in integrity, not behaviour that undermines it.
1. Comments made about me today by another Glasgow City Councillor are wholly false. I am taking legal advice and will be referring the matter to the Standards Commissioner. As this will now proceed through a confidential process, I will not be making further comment.
The fire on Union St is now contained thanks to the dedication & heroism of the firefighters of The SFRS. There will be travel disruption today and for the next few days do please keep an eye on travel announcements to keep you informed.
My thoughts right now are with the brave firefighters of The Glasgow Scottish Fire & Rescue service. They are working so hard to protect Glasgow's heritage in the most dangerous of conditions.
Frightening scenes coming out of Union Street tonight. Hoping everyone is safe. I’m confident the SFRS will do everything they can to bring the fire under control and protect the public. #StaySafe
The politics of hate & incompetence resoundly rejected at the ballot box 🗳
Congratulations and thanks to the City Treasurer, Ricky Bell for his tremendous hard work in securing an SNP investment budget that delivers for our city and responds to our citizens priorities avoiding the deep & harmful cuts proposed by the Labour Group in Glasgow.
