I know Canada has resources and minerals that the world needs. All I am asking, is that with modern technology and science, can't extraction be done properly...without destroying our country or the planet? The corporations aren't going to do it without the people and governments making them.

Canada must have a National Education System and a National Healthcare System. The Liberals never wanted Universal Healthcare, it wasn't until Tommy Douglas had them over a barrel that we got it. Canadians aren't going to give it up. Education is the only way to fight the stupidity of the right.
Canada has always acted like an ally to the US. The US has never acted like an ally to Canada. Some of the US States have, but never the US government.

The Provinces are pushing the Canadian government for more Healthcare funding. That is fair, Healthcare needs more funding and more doctors and nurses. However, any new funding needs to be directly controlled by how well that Province provides Canadian Healthcare.
To the US citizens who are hoping for change: I get it, you are putting a lot of effort into the midterms, some of you are protesting. A lot of you are hoping the Republicans are going to grow spines(hint- they're not going to). What are you going to do after the midterms when these fucks don't go?
All idle US owned lumber mills in Canada need to be surrendered to the Canadian government. All raw log exports to the US need to be banned. Put our mill workers back to work, and repair the damages done to our forests by US corporate raiders.
