Filling in many previously blank spaces in the Sikeston angle of the 1941 Missouri UFO crash saga, Linda L. Wallace deserves great credit as an amateur sleuth who tracked down information on how the ET recovery in Cape Girardeau was apparently trucked 35 miles south to Sikeston's airfield.
Cape Girardeau cop a few years before the 1941 UFO crash, and lo and behold, there's the author's grandfather, City Attorney Randolph P. Smith. While he passed away in the 1980s, the amazing story can be pieced together logically in my new book "The UFO Bombshell Before Roswell," via llewellyn.com.

It was originally intended for a few days after a late April 1941 UFO crash in Missouri, a broadcast by Pres. Roosevelt, regarding the need for vigilance and beefing up American defenses. Due to a sudden and serious health issue, FDR delayed it until May 27, when he was still pale and perspiring.
