I fondly recall never thinking about the Reflecting Pool unless I was standing right next to it. Same goes for most natural bodies of water, as well.
I don't think we're getting baseball until at least Memorial Day next year. I reckon the latest an abbreviated 80-ish game season could start is July 4. Opening collective bargaining salvos are polar, of course, and the temperature could cool. But yeesh. This feels much different (worse) than 2022.

If only a casual baseball fan, look up the org that originally signed Yordan Alvarez, and try not to spit-take. Traded to Houston for a non-descript reliever, passing on some very affordable (for them) arbitration years. Houston's scouting apparatus was a powerhouse.
