Well, that is a pain he knows well. Lestat turned his own mother because he did not want to lose her. "Louis says she is sick, so . . . it is possible." Lestat does not want to lie to the man even if his emotions are fragile at the moment. Even if Lestat himself is not sure he believes in heaven.
