As I live on a hill neighbors will often stop to give me a lift on the way up. Some of them own old Twingos so I quite often get the chance to ride in one. You sit a bit upright on small seats like in an ur-Mini, but they are amazingly roomy and airy, and one of them even has Aircon! #weirdcarbs

I spotted this 1976 Renault Estafette food truck as I was filling up in Nice and went to say hello to the owner. It turns out that he’s a Brit who’s just bought it and was driving 1,300 km to Cherbourg to catch the ferry to Ireland. Quite an experience! #Weirdcarbs

A lovely Citroen 11B cabriolet with a dickie seat. The chrome steps on the rear wing help you climb into the seat, but I don’t know how you can climb out.🤷‍♀️. The original motor has been replaced by a later 1.9L unit and electric power steering has been fitted to make it easier to drive. #WeirdcarBS
