Got lucky this morning as the Long-tailed Shrike was sat waiting for us when we arrived. Nice to see it with a rainbow behind too, just before it got a good soaking.

Had a fantastic Mermaid pelagic trip off Penzance on Sunday. The sight of 15 Wilson’s Storm Petrel “dancing” on the water was absolutely magical.

Working nearby this morning meant I had the chance to try for the Woolbeding Honey Buzzards, couldn’t believe my luck when one did a close fly-by after 10 minutes wait. No further sign after 2 hours.
