I´m happy to share with you that I´ve joined the Institute of Military History @ Swedish Defence University as a postdoctoral researcher. I shall focus on the Neutral Nations Supervisory Committee in Korea & Cold War detente. As a historian, I simply cannot part ways with the issues of war & peace.

This piece didn´t fly at first, back in 2016, as it was considered too Norway-focused. In-between the two submissions, I´ve changed a bit as a historian & new sources have appeared & helped me contextualise 'Minister Ditleff´s Report' much better. I´m happy to see that the article has found readers.

I´m not sure whether Dugin is "the Kremlin´s chief ideologue". But what he refers to here goes beyond post-Soviet nostalgia. To reclaim what one has lost despite one´s holy right to own is a potent, easy-to-internalise collective belief. May he have omitted the #Baltic #NATO countries by accident?
