One thing to keep in mind is all cults end terribly. When the followers eventually realize the leader was trolling them the whole time and they’ve lost everything (family, friends, jobs) for that one person, it gets spicy.

The right’s ability to brand anything the way they want is astounding. They brand their powerful rapists as victims. They brand their killers as heroes. They brand any attempt at anti-racism as bad. First it was PC, then it was BLM, now it’s Woke. They stand for nothing but power.

I love when the Jumbotron cuts away right when the person realizes they are on camera.

It doesn’t matter that Republicans ran with this story, and it makes no difference if they admit this was a lie. It confirmed the bias and there’s no way to undo that.
