Twitch's Former Chief Product Officer says the Discovery and Ads teams were once at war over Feed impressions (solved), and that Twitch streams with fewer than 1000 viewers are dead weight (since entertainment economics runs on ad rates). Very interesting historical insight!

Back from SFGE! I'll probably talk it about it a bit tonight but I'll try to save most of the pinball talk for Thursday. Excited to start a new game Sunday, Cabernet. It's a narrative RPG set in 19th century Eastern European where you either try to hold on to your humanity or become a monster.

Put more time on the Beetlejuice pinball machine & my opinion has radically improved. This is a really fun game!

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Dungeon Crawl Carl Pinball trailer is out. Multimorphic is getting adventurous with how they can extend past the module. The $5,250 price tag is brutal thou. For reference Portal Extended was $5,500 while standard was $3,900. Price aside, it looks interesting!
