Drosophila melanogaster trap (fruit flies). Over ripe bananas, in a cup, cling film with small puncture on top. They find the hole in the lid to get in as strong smell, but can’t find it to fet out. About 20 of them caught in 24hrs! Idea from a friend.

My recently qualified trainee now works up north as a GP. Due to delays in their certificate of sponsorship, they may now become an illegal immigrant over the weekend and have to leave the country and reapply with their family from abroad. How awfully we treat people here in the UK.
