Right now I’m really obsessed with candy apples with apple pie flavoring, but I’m sad because I know that it’s only a matter of time before my brain randomly decides that it hates candy apples and I’ll never want to eat one again.

When I’m stuck in task paralysis, sometimes just standing up, stretching, or shifting my posture for five minutes and thinking about my very first step can help interrupt the pattern and transition to something else.
ADHD comes with a special talent for running into random objects.Things will literally appear in your path out of nowhere, and you will run into them multiple times. This is nonnegotiable.
Automating certain things that you need to purchase regularly can be so helpful for ADHD. I personally use a toilet paper delivery subscription that auto-renews, and that’s one less thing I have to deal with keeping up with.
One thing about me: I rarely listen to anyone who tells me I can’t or shouldn’t do something. I don’t care, and I’m going to do it anyway lol
Sometimes basic hygiene and self care can be incredibly hard to manage with ADHD. It can feel embarrassing to talk about, but struggling with this does not make you a bad person.
Inattentive ADHD isn’t always obvious. But just because things like reduced working memory, frequent forgetfulness, constant overwhelm, mental clutter, and time blindness aren’t visible, it doesn’t mean they’re not there. #adhdwomen #adhd
I love #cheese more than I love most people.
“Just pick one.” I can’t. I see a bunch of options that all seem important, and I freeze up. ADHD causes me to have decision fatigue over the most basic stuff. Clothes, food, email subject lines, which route to take, when I’m going to do something, and how I’m going to do it. It never ends. #adhd
Those of you with ADHD, what’s one little thing you do that makes life a little easier? For me personally, it’s grocery delivery or pickup. Grocery stores are hard on me, sensory-wise, and I find them exhausting so I stopped going unless I’m just grabbing one or two small things. #adhdwomen #adhd
When I finally got treatment for my undiagnosed ADHD, it showed me how hard my brain had been working my whole life. I could finish tasks with less effort, hold thoughts longer, and everything just felt clearer. #adhd #neurodivergent
Even when I’m not doing anything my mind feels like a circus 24/7 this is why I’m tired all the time. #adhdwomen #adhd
When you sit down to do a ten minute task and suddenly it’s three hours later and you’ve done everything except the one thing you meant to do because you got distracted and forgot. ADHD is fun. #adhd #adhdwomen #neurodivergent
Inattentive ADHD is annoying because I can be 100 percent interested in a conversation and still zone out halfway through. #adhd #adhdwomen
