It’s interesting how there’s this category of plausible deniability that makes people way more willing to go on public crusades. there are people who actually loudly and explicitly espouse the views you detest but I bet you’d feel like you were wasting your energy combatting them. I wonder why.

Pokopia is always making me cry because the characters are always saying stuff like “I miss my friends! I hope I get to see them again some day” (doomed)

I don’t dream often any more but when I do, they’re usually complex abstract scenarios about solving puzzles that don’t make any sense on recall. Very often resembles whatever game I’ve been playing. What’s weird is these dreams are often highly emotional despite lacking any context whatsoever.

Remembered renting “Bartok the Magnificent” as a child and decided to skim through a YouTube upload of it. Forgot that Bluth actually participated so the animation is um very. Thoughtful. Intentional

Sometimes a wonderful piece of art will pass through my feed a few times because lots of people that I follow also follow each other. I will sometimes think “oh I don’t need to also repost, everyone’s already seen it.” This is always entirely incorrect

There are folks with whom I have had a friendship consisting only of replies on each others posts for years. Sometimes that’s all it’s ever been. I tear up at the idea that they might not think of me as their friend. I can’t say “I hate social media” with my whole heart. Everything I like is here.

Sometimes I get in this horrible mood where I am extremely sensitive to false perceptions of hostility like at a deeply wired level and on these days I can’t watch/listen to my favorite streamer funnyguys because they are always so damn smug

Austin is having the wettest summer in my near decade of living here and I’m absolutely loving it, I think haven’t even broken 100 yet and July is over halfway over
