I didn't have any confident ideas or inspiration today, so i went with what i really felt at the moment, sleepiness. i was pretty tired and just wanted to lay down, so with the dangerously little motivation i have, i made something what i felt at the moment and it felt good
I think it's fun just messing him up sometimes. making a really unkempt and chaotic look to everything, so that it breaks away from the usual clean and symmetric look. it gives more character and "what happened?" vibe to him. i did wonder how 'stinky' he looked when drawing this

wanted to draw a body that had outlines sticking to a few specific angles so that it's more angular/geometric. it's an artstyles that stray pretty far from realism, it's a very useful aesthetic that can be used universally to ease away from realism i think
really wanted to draw a Pelko that you can look through, and i haven't drawn something that had a glow i think. it's just also cute to have a guy thats uniquely designed running about
its pretty uncommon to draw Pelko bald-ish. i always give him hair or a hat. but it's funny that one would have a fantastic mohawk and just have an uncanny bald-ish head. like it's distracting even though he is here to help you get out of a hole
Wanted something really wonky for Pelko, so I twisted his face a bit and it turned out really funny and i went with it. then adding the context of him reading a book and playing a bit by himself just added to it. not to mention implying the author died, but maybe not?

been waiting until i can make some vertical drawings to try drawing pants specifically. i like scribbling random designs and see what pops out. might try more of it while i have the space to. no idea where you'd even get pants like these, but it would be cool to have one
wish i had more time to make it dirtier looking but this type of environment isn't unbelievable so i call it enough since there doesn't need to be more done. you can add more cracks, rust runoffs and some stains and debris, but i think my 80% good-enough is filled up already here
