Used game sale this weekend! There's lots of games that are being retired from our demo shelf. Will there be the odd piece missing? Maybe! Are prices really low? Yes! We've also got a bunch of new consignment games. Drop by the shop now for best selection!
Every Thursday evening at Pe Metawe is Queer Night, a community focused, staff-facilitated drop-in game night in a safe and inclusive space for ages 16+ 🌈 Queer Night is Pay What You Can. Our standard drop-in fee of $5 is suggested, but people can contribute more or less as they wish.
Gently used titles from our game library need new homes, so we’re having a big sale featuring them next weekend, Aug 1-2. There may be the odd piece missing or depleted scorecard, but everything is in otherwise good condition. In-store only, games sold as-is, sales final.
It’s almost time! We’re happy to once again be one of Edmonton Fringe Festival’s retail partners for Fringe guide sales! You can pick yours up for $15 from July 29-Aug 13 during regular shop hours 🎭
August Age of Vitality Dice Throne Organized Play Tournament! Friday, August 7, $5 entry fee. Check in at 6:00pm, first round begins at 6:15pm. Drop-ins are welcome but registration on Challonge (link in bio/QR code) is appreciated.
Tickets are live for this month's Blood on the Clocktower! Starting at 6pm on July 25, this game is welcoming to beginners and experts alike. 18+, $5/person, ticket link in bio and below!

Each month leading up to September we’re dedicating some of our drop-in nights to Play the North’s 2026 game publisher partners. On July 18, our Play the North drop-in will feature a selection of games by Inside Up Games with our staff available to facilitate and teach! 4-9pm, $5 drop-in fee.

Big step towards becoming a real game store: Our playspace's game library is freshly organized and labeled so it's easier to settle on what to play! We always have anytime drop-in whenever tables are available during shop hours for $5/person.

We’ll be closed June 21 for National Indigenous Peoples Day so our team can spend time with community. We encourage everyone to find a meaningful way to spend the day such as attending an event like the celebration hosted by our friends at the Bissell Centre 🪶
