ICYMI, BioMenace, one of my all time fave run 'n gun platformers, is having a both a birthday and a sale. The remaster is really darn good, by the way. All changes in it are thoughtful and QoL type things, the gameplay remains the same. The new episode also rocks.

The original Bio Menace (v1.0) was released today 33 years ago! www.youtube.com/watch?v=uifr... We created BioMenace Remastered roughly 3 decades later and the players really seem to enjoy it! Get it now on GOG or Steam. Currently there's a 25% discount on Steam!

I was ""lucky"" to loose two games early on in the 'digital age'. It made 'physical only gamer'. 1) Two X360 RRoDs & console swaps within a month broke Braid license. Couldn't transfer it anymore. 2) Majesco dying took my Xbox Originals Psychonauts with it. It was gone, you couldn't download it.

Another one for those that believe all companies love all-digital. They don't. They are pissed at Sony. From indie all the way to devs for first party AAA. Long-term, nobody wins in all-digital, if it's purely driven by greed in an environment with no customer protection.

🐧 Weekly #Penguin 988 More merchandise of the candy mascot Pingo. This time it's an old small backpack. Naturally this was originally filled with candy, the belly being see-through to show the selection. I filled it with paper for the photo shoot for the proper tuxedo colours.

Feels like PlayStation has switched tactics to calm the social media backlash. The main profile has been posting less, but the regional accounts continue promotions. Maybe to spread the protesters thin. Don't fall for it. Keep voicing your displeasure whenever you can!

Off-topic; Picked perfect moment to do this, huh? So far so good, Turbo Overkill runs buttery smooth everything cranked up to the max. I previously played through it on my travel laptop, on which I had to tune everything down.

Since PlayStation is deader than a dodo, time to give that @gog.com Galaxy a test drive. I've been using GOG for retro-gaming only and to get games for my old-ass "travel laptop", but I guess now I finally need to test this main system for something other than TAGAP and 90s DOOM.

Off-topic, but um... apparently PSN is down for the count. Sony's brand new Marvel game and PlayStation's first Halo both require online connections. I've never in my life seen such perfect timing. And they wonder why want our games physical and offline. LOL. LMAO.
