What I love most about writing Scout, though, is that ultimately they are happy and successful and loved with all of those traits intact. None of those aspects are problems to solve or flaws to excise, they win by embracing their identities, and by allowing themselves to be embraced by others 🥰

I think One Battle After Another has supplanted Sinners as my favorite movie of the year😍 It's so good, tense and funny and weirdly hot, while being the most effective anti-fascist thing I've seen since Inglorious Basterds. PT Anderson just did a Tarantino movie without Tarantino's worst impulses🥰
