In Donkey Kong Bananza, if Pauline sings for long enough on the Resort Layer, an underground beach, birds gather. However, no birds gather on DK Island, even though parrots can be seen flying around. It appears that the birds on DK Island simply do not enjoy Pauline's singing.
I've tried to keep my public criticism of IV to a minimum so I don't come off as negative or cynical. But caring about a piece of media MUST involve holding it accountable. I love Inanimate Insanity, and I love how it's been able to write such real characters. If only it'd commit to them.
Here's a bit cut from Li'l Pastcals! This was a really special episode to work on, because I actually got to give a little presentation on how to emulate that Fleischer cartoon look. Here, I thought it'd be fun to channel the 2D/3D setbacks--it was cut for time and logistics, but still SO FUN to do!
