Acclimating to progressive lenses + allergies feels like a mild case of Covid. So stoked I have to practice seeing better (with side effects) for two weeks until I can see better.
@joe-hill.bsky.social I wanted to get in on the King Sorrow ARC love. What an amazing book! This is the fastest I’ve ever read 900 pages. Pacing was incredible, and King Sorrow’s Freddy Krueger-meets-Smaug-with-Robert-Shaw’s-Voice vibe was so fun. Congratulations on such an accomplishment. Wow.
I saw The Yeah Yeah Yeahs open for Girls Against Boys at the First Unitarian Church in Philly before they blew up. There are a ton more that don’t really count because I used to work at music venues.
