Delighted have my place in this little corner of the internet reinstated once again. Here’s to sharing the very best of tonight’s playlist with the #Weekendsingles gang in the morning.
Sometimes No matter what you’ve got planned Or what’s next on the playlist You’ve just got to go back to base camp Remember what it’s all about Play Clash records #Weekendsingles #TheClash #Clash #ClashCityRockers
Last nights playlist with records from GenX, Idol, Members, Ramones, Skids, Squeeze, Undertones, Police, Buzzcocks and an unexpected highlight, Mr. Fire Cole-Man come do your work #Weekendsingles
Usually have a carefully planned Friday night playlist but not this week, just a handful grabbed from the nearest box #Weekendsingles
Played Love Bites last night, decided that it hadn’t stood the test of time so instead of just putting it back on the shelf, ripped it up, as you do #Weekendsingles
As a lover of punk, ska, new wave, 2-tone and reggae I’m stuck in a bread crate job lot of 60s vinyl. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible #Weekendsingles
At last a gap in the diary to join in properly with #Weekendsingles not single related but was excited to find a copy of Black Market Clash in the Christmas pile. It’s only taken 45 years to get here. #TheClash #BlackMarketClash
Saw this and thought of you @gerardojoseph.bsky.social I have dispatched a delegate with a shopping list #Weekendsingles
Didn’t have time to finely curate the Friday night playlist that normally involves a tour around the house and a few from each section. Instead a one-stop-shop S-box selection. #Weekendsingles
If #Weekendsingles ever needed an anthem All Our Yesterdays would be a contender. Biggest surprise is that it’s from 1990 not 1979.
It didn’t take long after the flowers were delivered to realise that I’d just acquired a holding pen for 400 more singles #Weekendsingles
What started out as conversation about The Equals ended up in the most unvisited box in the collection. Here’s a selection of what was played last night from the ‘70s #Weekendsingles
Completed the hat trick of closed records stores. 3 cities and 3 stores all closed during their advertised hours of opening. There was hope for number 4 but got their too early #weekendsingles
