Sarlix is very much a bat to me, I've compared him to the California leaf nosed bat before Perzica is thoroughly a crocodile of some kind or an oarfish Bella has always been represented as a Dutch rabbit, but he also evokes emperor penguin and/or doberman in my mind

Sarlix has nightmares unless he has someone sleeping with him. his nightmares are about a lot of things, but I think he especially dreams about bleeding out on the beach. Perzica I don't think has real dreams, I think its mostly him communing with the ghost of his father while he sleeps. lmao.

wanted to do a quick concept sketch of Sarlix's dad, Leslie. early into writing my fic, I tried to establish that Sarlix looks a lot like him in a lot of ways, moreso than his two older brothers do

working with a studio of livestreamers in a professional capacity really helps your personality as a small time hobby streamer bc you see how they behave and it makes you go "wow I sure wouldn't wanna act like THOSE guys"
