George Pearkes@peark.es · 6h agoI reiterate that the plan for 1mil space datacenters is laughable. Even if you worked out the engineering and economics. The size of them, assuming a reasonable amount per starship, would be such that total compute in orbit would round to zero. Its a DOA concept before the engineering constraints.

It involves policy decisions made in Morocco - courted by Spain, the EU generally, AND the Trump administration - following a visit by Spanish PM Sánchez to its rival Algeria. This is about diplomacy more than border security.
If this all turns out to be a fucking show by Morocco. Man.

UEFA do nothing challenge failed. They don't exactly seem happy after that meeting they had. UEFA signaling a readiness to boycott the WC over this is fucking hilarious. (and amazing that this is what it took)
