the one thing about the death of Sam Neil compared to the other recent high profile passings is the wonderful warmth of the anecdotes and the joy you get reading them, a life fully lived to its potential for the betterment of all of us.
Obsession is such a brilliant film. given it 5 stars on @letterboxd.social slow burns at the beginning but picks up the tempo and hurtles towards the end, great horror film to watch with partners who don’t like horror films. though be warned some gory stuff at the end.

what an album! and very influential to my career, as Kevin’s sub comments to some of the tracks printed on the back of the album inspired me to add comments to the paintings i do and thus becoming integral part of my shows. “thankfully coming from yorkshire this applies” 😉

However, I adore the Album of the Soundtrack of The Trailer Of The Film Of Monty Python and The Holy Grail. I wrote a big MOJO feature on how their LPs helped break the US.
Grew up with this album as a kid as my big bro was into BST. Clayton-Thomas’ vocals are truly stunning. God Bless the Child is one of its stand out tracks ❤️

I celebrate the life of one of the greatest artists of my time, David Hockney. Fearless and independent, a true son of Yorkshire who encapsulates how an artist should truly live. He left us with an incredible legacy, creating till the very end which is the hope of every artist. A true legend
