I realized recently GameMaker is primarily running single-threaded and I think that's saved me a lot of headaches. multithreading is nightmarish from a logical prospective.

@whetstone.games I finished Offbeat! It's GREAT! The problem is I want more now, tried to find a DAW that would feels similar and I so far absolutely hate every one I've tried. I'm hoping you have opinions on this. Is there one you like? I'd just keep using Offbeat tbh, but I want more sounds.

Ok so genuinely this game is amazing and you should go play the demo/wishlist immediately. I've tried to learn to make music a couple times and could not wrap my head around all the options. This game teaches you! It feeds you little bits so it's not overwhelming while you learn! Also WHAT?!
