Bluesky works much better with different accounts for other interests. This is my wildlife account. Football totally separate now on another account, you'll probably be pleased to hear!

A nice surprise with 6 Corn Buntings seen well in the farmland between Dunbridge and Carter's Clay. I'm pretty sure these are the furthest south along the Test Valley, by quite a few miles. Saw 2 there a couple of winters back. No pics, but Spotted Medick was a new one for me. #Hantsbirds

Spotted Medick, clover like leaves with a dark spot in the centre. Didn't realise at the time, but it has yellow flowers lurking under the leaves, which seems to be a typical feature of it. Two flashes of yellow are visible under the leaves in the picture

2 Little Gulls close to the shore at Calshot this lunchtime. First an Adult Winter, which had gone by the time I grabbed camera. Fortunately, I then found a 1st winter resting on the sea which eventually flew close. Found 3 in Hants in a week now (also Pennington last weekend) #HantsBirds #UKBirding

1 Raspberry Pi, a Zoom H1 and an Audiomoth, and 3 days of cursing. But I now have a permanent Bird call monitor / bat detector running. Pretty sure the Sp.Fly is false. It did pick up a bone fide Firecrest though. Looks like a Noctule slipped past with the Pipistrelle (20khz). #Bioacoustics
