Great team that knows the law in this area inside and out! How strong is their work? In the last eight years, not one - not one - of their decisions has been disagreed with by a Rhode Island court. We take the APRA as the legislature has given it to us. And we interpret it. That’s it.

Victims of child sexual abuse are forever changed by the crimes committed against them. They deserve the chance to seek accountability, and the bill that the Senate will vote on can give them that chance.

Shocking! Come on, RI’ers already know this. What they’re waiting for is a plan to fix it. It’s pretty simple. Raise reimbursements - pay - for primary care docs. Eliminate 💯 of prior authorizations. Pay and treat them like the docs, that, eg, check your moles every year. It’s a start.

IF I was Gov, I would insist that every major bridge/highway construction contract be done only at night. As AG, IF the General Assembly passes my grand jury report statute bill, I will immediately commence grand jury investigations into the Wash, Newport, Jamestown and Mt Hope Bridge fiascos.

I don’t always love GoLocal’s approach to journalism and Josh Fenton and I have had our differences, though I do respect his intelligence and willingness to get after it. That said, Robert Whitcomb’s columns are level-headed excellence. Man, does the Journal miss him.
