This is my will and my last message.
If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice.
First, peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

God knows that I exerted all my effort and strength to be a support and a voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of the Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that God would prolong my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original town of Ashkelon, occupied "Al-Majdal." But God's will was swifter, and His judgment is decisive.

I lived pain in all its details, tasted grief and loss repeatedly, yet I never hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without falsification or distortion, hoping that God would be witness over those who remained silent, those who accepted our killing, those who besieged our breaths, and whose hearts were not moved by the scattered remains of our children and women, nor did they stop the massacre our people have been subjected to for more than a year and a half.

I entrust you with Palestine, the jewel of the Muslim crown, and the heartbeat of every free person in this world.
I entrust you with its people, and its oppressed little children, who were not granted the time to dream and live in safety and peace.
Their pure bodies were crushed by thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and rockets, torn apart, their remains scattered on the walls.

I advise you not to be silenced by chains, nor confined by borders, and be bridges towards liberating the land and the people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our usurped land.
I entrust you with my family with goodness.
I entrust you with the apple of my eye, my beloved daughter Sham, whom the days did not allow me to see grow as I dreamed.

I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whom I wished to be a support and companion until he grows strong, to carry my burdens and complete the message.

I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose blessed prayers brought me to where I am, and whose prayers were my fortress, and her light my path.
I pray to God to comfort her heart and reward her with the best recompense on my behalf.

I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife Umm Salah Bayan, whom the war separated from me for long days and months, but she remained faithful to the covenant, steadfast like an olive tree trunk that does not bend, patient and hopeful, carrying the trust in my absence with all strength and faith.

I advise you to gather around them and be their support after God Almighty.
If I die, I die steadfast on principle, and I bear witness to God that I am content with His decree, believing in meeting Him, and certain that what is with God is better and everlasting.

O God, accept me among the martyrs, forgive me my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and family.
Forgive me if I fell short, and pray for me mercy, for I have remained true to the covenant, without change or alteration.

Do not forget Gaza...
And do not forget me in your good prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

The European Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern #Gaza Strip has so far received the bodies of 39 Palestinians recovered from several in #Rafah after the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces. Most of them could not be identified since many of them are just bones and skeletons. #Palestine

Press Release on the State of the Civil Defense Force After 470 Days of Israeli Aggression and Genocidal War in Gaza

1. Human and Material Losses

• The Civil Defense Force suffered extensive human and material losses during this war due to Israeli targeting. A total of 99 personnel were killed, and 319 were injured, dozens of whom now live with permanent disabilities.

• The Israeli occupation forces detained 27 members of the Civil Defense Force, including the Director of Civil Defense in North Gaza and the directors of the three centers in the region. Their whereabouts remain unknown after they were taken to undisclosed locations.

• The total human losses among Civil Defense personnel represent 48% of the force, including dead, wounded, and detainees.

• Of the 21 centers and headquarters, 17 were deliberately targeted by the Israeli forces. Among them, 14 were completely destroyed, and 3 sustained partial damage.

• 85% of Civil Defense vehicles were destroyed, either partially or completely. This includes 61 out of 72 vehicles, encompassing fire trucks, rescue vehicles, rapid response units, and ambulances.

2. Operations Carried Out by Our Teams (October 7, 2023 – Present)

• Since the beginning of this genocidal war, we received over 500,000 distress calls from areas under threat. Unfortunately, around 50,000 calls could not be responded to due to fuel shortages or the inability to coordinate field missions in highly dangerous areas targeted by the occupation.

• Our teams retrieved more than 38,300 bodies from targeted homes, buildings, and sites across Gaza.

• Approximately 97,000 injured individuals were rescued and treated, with 11,206 critical cases transported to hospitals.

• We managed to extinguish 22,403 fires, which resulted from attacks on residential areas, commercial and economic buildings, agricultural lands, and other sites.

• Our teams successfully evacuated 42,000 individuals from dangerous homes and areas.

• It is estimated that about 2,840 bodies were completely vaporized, as the Israeli occupation used weapons producing temperatures between 7,000–9,000 degrees Celsius, melting everything at the center of the explosion.

• We are still tasked with recovering the remains of over 10,000 killed, whose bodies are trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes, buildings, and facilities. These victims are not yet accounted for in the official statistics.

• The Israeli occupation has prohibited our teams from operating in several areas, including the Rafah border crossing, Tel Sultan in Rafah, Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, Jabalia camp in North Gaza, northern Nuseirat, eastern areas of the central province, southern Zaytoun, and Tel Al-Hawa. These areas contain the remains of hundreds of martyrs that have not yet been recovered.

3. Urgent Needs and Appeals

After 470 days of genocidal war on Gaza, the Civil Defense Force urgently requires rebuilding, rehabilitation, and reinforcement with human resources, equipment, and materials to handle the catastrophic scale of destruction from more than 15 months of aggression.
We call for:

• Immediate entry of Civil Defense teams from brotherly countries into Gaza, along with their equipment, to support us in responding to the overwhelming humanitarian crisis.

• Comprehensive support for Gaza's Civil Defense Force, including vehicles, rescue and firefighting equipment, ambulances, and heavy machinery essential for retrieving the bodies of martyrs from beneath the rubble of thousands of destroyed buildings and homes.
