Spent some time watching this Pied Wagtail mooching about in the weed on the high tide line. It would regularly jump into the air, chasing flies I guess. #birds 🪶

It’s Reedling time at @rspbleightonmoss.bsky.social The crowds gather in the dim light of pre-dawn establishing their little piece of viewing real estate and settle to a long cold wait…..worth it? Oh aye, the Bearded Reedling is a striking little bird #birds 🪶

Ancona. Mixed messages, an open door with arrow sign beckoning the viewer towards it but the word WRONG in graffiti above…….mmmm, should I enter or not.
Dog toilet at the old harbour of Chania, Crete. Pete getting arty on his holidays 😂

A sideway phone shot of Stirling Castle on route to Inverness 😂😂🇬🇷
It’s surprising what can come your way when staking out a Kingfisher’s territory. No Kingfisher but this little Treecreeper kept me company and entertained me for a while this morning. #birds 🪶
Good to see the number of rabbits increasing on my walk the other day at @cumbriawildlife.bsky.social South Walney. Here’s one basking in the morning sunshine.
Similar to a previous posting but something about this just appeals more to my eye. The backdrop gives a real sense of scale and feel of the estate.
Unashamedly Coulin….unashamedly beautiful
First light kissing a stand of trees on the edge of Loch Coulin illuminating the early spring growth. Spent a lovely 20 mins watching the scene develop as the sun rose
