Looking at the calendar, today we are 4 weeks away from leaving for DragonCon. We have so much to get done in the next 4 weeks before we hit the road to one of our favorite places in the world.

I liked the 9:45am movie time, everyone in our theater were very cool like they were all there to see a movie. I'm sure everyone has been at movies and gotten annoyed at others, none of that this morning. At 2 & a 1/2 hours, Spider-Man Brand New Day was a long movie that didn't feel too long.

I have to say that Spider-Man: Brand New Day was the most excellent perfect comic book themed movie I have ever seen. I loved it and would love to see it again!

At Ayrsley Grand where there is a whole lot of Spider-Man Brand New Day for what may be my earliest movie in just about ever.

Sometimes you take what you can get, I Fandango'd tickets tomorrow morning at 9:45am for Spider-Man Brand New Day.

Talk about timing, it was less than 30 minutes after getting the limb down and trucked off before the rain began to pour.

Surprised to find that one of our tree limbs has a split in it and fortunately was able to get it taken down today. The limb was big and hung over the road, if it broke it would have been no fun to get removed all on my own. I think it was smart to get it done and done right.

Had to tame all the grounds of the Casa De Wyrd. The back nine can be a brutal mow but it needed to be done. The back grew up so much that one of our wee beasties long tail could only be seen when she borrowed in. Also got it done when it wasn't in triple digits.

Got our pre-DragonCon flu shots. We are just about a month out and we believe getting these shots have helped us not get "con crud". It's one of our pre-con traditions.

Picked this up at Publix this morning and saw that they are stocked with Sam Adams Oktoberfest as well as the Jack-O. This is the first fall beers and ciders I've seen out this season.

Took a 3K walkabout of Uptown all the way down to the ballpark and round back up 5th street. Uptown is getting busy again, got the walkabout in before it all got crowded.

At the beginning of being halfway through this week. It's not much but it is something and some times something is all you need.
