For those who pointed out that the Amazon listings for the Nathan Sutherland series were all over the shop ("Venetian Candidate" was listed as book 13 in an - at present - 9 book series, for example) - I think we've sorted it now! Thanks for letting me know!! Let me know it it's still wrong!

Just catching up on the Prog Rock Prom. Not all of it works but much of it does and some of it - Crimson, Oldfield, Gentle Giant - is fantastic. Give it a watch. For those who gave Jane Weaver a hard time - Annie Haslam and Justin Hayward are nearly 80 and are not going to sound like they once did.

#NowPlaying "Ellington in Order, volume 8". It's been an absolute pleasure working my way through this series. You just start playing in the secure knowledge that pretty much everything for the next 2.5 hours is going to be brilliant. Sadly, having only reached 1937, it seems to be on hiatus now.

@jmcobleyauthor.bsky.social 's "Wake Up in Music" arrived in Venice yesterday. On the surface it's a novel about growing up with Marillion but there's so much more to it than that. It's a lovely book full of all the things that are wonderful and horrible about being a kid.
