I was using a Mac when it stopped just being a raincoat. Does anyone remember Fat Bits in Macpaint? It magnified your work so you could see detail, but the resolution was so primitive that everything looked like Minecraft.

Roger Limb, Glynis Jones, Mark Ayres, and I were at the Music Producers Guild Awards last week, where we picked up the Pioneer award for the Radiophonic Workshop, past and present, alongside rolling credits of over eighty people connected with the workshop, headed by Delia Derbyshire and John Baker.

There's an article in the Guardian about the intrinsic value of things. We bought a doorstop 5 years ago. It's still in its box. The box acts as a doorstop kept in place by the weight of the doorstop inside. Turns out intrinsic value is complicated.
