It gives me hope when people I’ve only ever known through art are still drawing even now. It’s like spotting a distant light out on a dark sea.
I go through phases of thinking, ‘I need to work harder!’ and phases of thinking, ‘Huh, I’m actually not that special after all,’ and right now I’m in the latter phase.
