Happy #PortfolioDay. I am Vexus M., a freelancing 2D animation artist seeking contract and/or part-time work on projects in the fantasy/action genre. I hold a Digital Arts associate degree, and have been independently animating for the past 5-6 years. Email: phantalantern@protonmail.com #demoreel

I must check the comments viewers leave in my animation uploads. They are quite the morale boost.

Is most of my professional career needing to endure people outside of my industry who believe they know more about how it functions and what to do than me?

The U.S politics news cycle has truly become a loop of hearing the most vile, cruel acts being acted out with action taken to stop it having to build up each time, and then turning to Mamdani to see what good he's brought to NYC again

KOG episode 2 was gratifying and equally horrific. I must strengthen my animation skills further.

Bluesky, are you having a laugh? Or am I not able to post at this time for an odd error?

This decade has broccoli curls shaping up to be the 2000s frosted spiked tips: not to be trusted under any circumstances

I believe this is the part where I am supposed to say "nice".

It is International Lesbian Day. I must admit, I was somewhat caught off guard and did not prepare anything for it. In its stead, please enjoy this older piece. #InternationalLesbianDay #indie #HowlsSong #fantasy

My most popular work so far cannot possibly be Dr. Cooper soyjack pointing at Elster and Ariane on a green screen. I need to up my game.

Happy #WerewolfWednesday. This is as much as I can illustrate at this moment as I am in the depths of Portfolio Day preparation. Enjoy Vortex waking up from an evening siesta- natural black fur included. #HowlsSong

Pretend I posted this yesterday. #knightsofguinevere

Some time this month, I will need to return to the depths of Blender tutorials to compose the battle map for the next visual chapter. I utilized a free-to-use for commercial purposes last chapter due to time restraints. I wish to sculpt it from scratch myself.

Nick Park spent the '80s making A Grand Day Out mostly alone. It was a school project that got out of hand -- he wanted to quit many times. But Park stuck with it and fulfilled his dream of bringing a cinematic feel to stop motion. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/wallace-an...

Today is my birthday. I need not shiny new toys or video games. Nor do I wish for fast fashion or divine feasts. All I want today is this: for people to read my novel, and recommend it to loved ones. It is fast approaching its 9th anniversary being worked upon. Please enjoy my labor of love.

I don't care to have many consider my stories peak, trash, or mid. I do not care for these extremes, nor do I like the way this current landscape has twisted media to demand that you must be life-changing or else you are not worth it. I want to exist. I want it to be.
