Trying to learn to develop video games to impress my toddler https://thirty25.blog/

I went in with no preconceived ideas. Play it by ear, plenty of resources and friends who had been there to lean on for help. Maybe take the little guy to the neighborhood sports bar, see how that shakes out maybe A birthday of March of 2020 proved that every parenting plan is killable

Hey parents of bsky: What are some theories of parenting you were very confident in right up until you had your own kids?

Took my kids to see Toy Story 5. It's the first time the four year old has ever seen commercials and he's incredulous about everything. "Popcorn chicken is BACK at KFC!?"

“You’re gonna be okay, mister, but I can’t say the same for your little buddy over there. … The way I hear it, he’s the one that mouthed off to them gunfighters in the first place.”

Pushed up another version of Beck (usepennington.github.io/beck/). This time we got weird - totally dropping JS rendering. Completely server side generation of SVG/SMIL/CSS animations via C# This has been my goal for a few years now but a few things I've done recently made it possible

Beck — animated diagrams from YAML

Write architecture, sequence, state, and class diagrams in a few lines of YAML. Beck renders an animated SVG at build time — no JavaScript on the page.
