The longer this memory shortage lasts, the happier I am that my 4 year old M1 Max MBP keeps happily doing whatever I throw at it. Hope to get another 4 years out of it.

I just downgraded my Claude subscription by a tier since I've had a pretty good success rate with local models for coding assistance. So I'll try the whole "let Opus write the plan and let Qwen execute" setup for a bit. Will report back.
