Ngl I hate how overused the term 'slop' is now for things the user dislikes when its original use was to describe things that were low effort and low quality meant for quick turnaround and consumption. Not everything you call slop is slop.

Returned to playing Hollow Knight after not playing it in over a year and having only the final boss left... And I still haven't beaten it. I'm not bad at platformers, I swear. XD

I'm a simple creature. No fancy gifts or anything, but my husband got a lot of nice little treats I like. Box of Twinkies, bag of berry Sour Patch Kids, big boxes of Pocky, giant strawberry chocolate heart, pack of very vulgar playing cards (lol), tin of fruit jellies, and a shrimp tempura plushie.

I had a dream that I was gifted tickets to a Toronto Blue Jays game and a Toronto Maple Leafs game for my birthday next week, and I got really excited...then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. :<

I didn't realize it was NHL schedule release day. Time to watch all the videos the teams have put together to promo their schedules. >_>

A big reason why I switched over to PF2e and have been able to bring new people in was AoN. Having this resource with all the official artwork has been a huge part of the appeal. Doing this will hurt reach and growth by a TON.

Another recently completed comm. I've offered FEH-style chibis for forever, but I finally got to doodle a proper summoner OC for @violetsummoner.bsky.social! (I forgot how detailed the summoner coat was - that was hard >_>)

I've been getting a lot of Hollow Knight bug-sona comm requests lately. One of which was @shinultimavt.bsky.social's vtuber as a hercules beetle!

My sister suggested that one of these days I try tabling at cons. My main problem is inventory and artwork - I'd have to figure out what to make art of and what fandoms are popular. Actual merch isn't an issue. The hubby bought a bunch of things like a heat press, Cricut machine, button maker, etc.

It's infuriating looking at a lot of creative fields lately making excuses for using GenAI. Why are you using it in the concept stage? There's literally thousands of years of earth's existence to draw from. Books, older movies, photography. I literally take photos when I'm outside or on vacation.

This is what every game developer sounds like right now.
