Also I know it might not happen, but I truly wish new cities (and eventually old ones) have more NPCs, not to interact but to make it look like an actual populated city. These get increasingly big and the big empty areas are sad after an expansion is done. Just me here wishing :')

It's ok to fall out of love with an OC due to negative circumstances surrounding them. Each time you see them a reminder of anxiety or the people you may have distanced yourself from. Take time. Rework them. Redesign them. Or perhaps move on. Don't feel bad if you have to do the last option.
