The Wolf Within Me

I have always had a very strong connection to wolves. Even as a kid, I had always thought about how life would have been had I been one of them. That thought somehow made me feel much more at peace with myself. Although I didn't understand why yet. One of the most magical memories that I have had involving wolves, is that I went to a zoo one day on a school excursion.

I might live stream tomorrow again. It has been a hot minute. Should get back into Pokémon LeafGreen and finish it at some point. I want to at least finish that by the end of the year, so I can get into 2027 with a whole nother game again, hahaha

Today I came to the realization that I fucking LOVE thriller films. They constantly put me at the edge of my seat in a way virtually nothing does, and it is genuinely an amazing feeling when it ends, you get out of there, and you can finally catch your breath. I love it so much

Today I was reminded just how much I needed to hear "I'm proud of you", during a concert where one of my favorite artists sang a song that started with those exact words. I cannot describe how hard I felt that and how hard I wanted to cry in that moment. That broke my heart 🥺

I need to vent. So here you have one in the form of this little blog post I made just now.

Processing compliments

I won't lie to you. I often find it very tough to really accept, or process compliments from people. Especially when it's about me, rather than my accomplishments, my grades in school, my job, or something like that. Because growing up, my family's love was conditional, especially my father's. Rarely did I ever get much praise for just being a good person, or did I get acknowledged for just being me.
