I visited my mom on Mother’s Day. She has early onset dementia. I brought her lavender and sat beside her on her bed. For a moment, she became clear again and started crying. I told her it was okay. That one day I’ll get the house she always dreamed of, and plant the roses she always wanted too. ❤️
