“Not too bad. Dude, I’m the best pitcher in the state! I’m amazing!” He threw a fast ball!

“Hey… why the long face, Az?” Yuwen asked, rolling to his tummy. He grinned and began poking at Asriel’s side again. “Everyone is ticklish, dude!”
Yuwen chuckled and rolled off of Asriel, giggling himself as he lay on the floor. “So, the monster is ticklish~!” he declared, smirking.
“Haha! Gotcha!” Yuwen exclaimed with a smirk, “And now! My ultimate attack!” With Asriel disoriented, Yuwen plunged his fingers into the monster’s sides and underarms, “Here comes the Yuwen special!” he teased!

Oh this sucked… Yuwen had to lift the mood somehow! As they entered he spotted some pillows and got an idea. Quickly, kicking off his cleats, he ran and grabbed a pillow and swung it, smacking Asriel in the face! “Ha! Pillow fight!” he shouted with a laugh, hoping to cause a distraction.
Yuwen froze, his heart began aching to the point where he began rubbing his chest. “Oh… th-that’s… AHEM!” he coughed. “I’m sorry Az… I….”
“Ah, mom and dad live separately. I get that… One of my friend’s has folks that aren’t together…” Yuwen stopped and rubbed his neck. “Uh, s-sorry…? Was that presumptuous?”
Yuwen collected his glove and walked alongside Asriel as he guided them back to his mother’s home. “Your folks won’t mind, right?” he asked, walking with his arms lifted and folded behind his head.
Yuwen grinned and stepped away, crossing his arms to strike the coolest, “cool guy” pose he could. “Awesome! Not to worry Az, I’ll teach all there is to know about the perfect sleep over!”
Yuwen’s papercraft heart began to ache for Asriel. Losing a friend, then not having a true one since… He couldn’t imagine. “Hey, I don’t know exactly how to get back home… think your folks would mind if I stay over? We can have, like, a proper sleepover!”
Happy indeed, and it warmed Yuwen’s heart. He threw his arm around Asriel, pulling him close. “Hey! You and I? We’re best friends now! Got it? I got your back Asriel!”
“Heh, I’m twelve! You gotta be somewhere around there, yeah?” Yuwen pocketed his hands and rocked on his heels. “I’d vouch for ya! Monster or no, you got talent, dude!”
Yuwen’s chuckled harmonized with Asriel’s. He stopped teasing his new friend and ruffled the fur atop his head. “It shows! Hey! You should join our team!”
Yuwen reached around to adjust his hat. “Y-you could say that!” he said. He chuckled and ran up to Asriel, playfully punching and poking the monster in the sides. “That was totally cool, dude!”

"Alrighty then..." Yuwen swung his throwing arm around, stretching it and readying himself to pitch. "You got that branch there? I'm going to throw the ball to you, and you're going to swing the bat to hit it. If we had a few more players it'd be more interesting, but this will do for now. Ready +
It was a welcome change to that icy environment for sure. Yuwen began tossing the softball into his glove, smirming at Asriel. "So, refresh me... everything play softball before?" He asked, grinning.
"Huh, game?" Yuwen blinked, then face-palmed! "Oh yeah! That's right! Let's go outside and I'll show you some of my best throws. We'll see if you got what it takes."
